John Elliott MBE
Also known as the 'Secret Millionaire' for his participation in the hit Channel 4 television series, John Elliott MBE was born near Bishop Auckland in 1943. A draftsman by trade, John entered into self-employment in the early 70s and won a contract to produce industrial dehumidifiers for a national construction group.
John's dedication and drive soon saw the company grow, and since it began over 30 years ago Ebac had grown into the market leader in both the Dehumidifier and Watercooler markets.
John has always been a champion of true British values and belief in British business. Ebac’s headquarters remains in John's home town of Bishop Auckland in County Durham and John was awarded a MBE in 1986 for 'Services to Small Business'.
The John Elliott Philosophy is at the core of Ebac's success. Throughout Ebac's 35 years of businesses, John has always emphasized that customer needs come first:

Today John Elliott remains at the head of Ebac, devising new products for the business they operate in and developing completely new business operations such as new Refrigeration range which has so far proven very successful.
